With all of the hullaballoo surrounding the tender process, I completely forgot to welcome the latest member of our team – who I’m really hoping will be tender……ly received by all of you.
I’m sure all of you remember the wonderful send off we had for Colin the Turkey last year. He would have been so proud of the way he made us feel – warm inside, content and sleepy. What a great guy. So it gives me great pleasure to tell you that his son, the imaginatively named Colin the Turkey Jnr (not to be confused with Robert Downey Jnr) has joined the Santa Ltd team.
The old chip off the chopping block, who cuts a plumper, fatter, altogether more delicious figure than his father, joins us from the famous Talk the Talk Animal Agency (run by the wonderful Dr Doolittle) where he was stable mates with Babe the sheep pig, the laughing cow and Hollywood sensation Stuart Little.
I’m sure you will all give him a very warm welcome when he arrives this afternoon. Could one of the fairies volunteer to make him comfortable in the kitchen?

I will show him the kitchen, make sure there is no food around I would hate for him to get stuffed already!
When you're done, let me know and Colin Junior can help me polish my collection of extremely sharp knives. I'll feed him a turkey sandwich with the frozen left overs from last year as well if he gets hungry....
