We’ve been busy wracking our brains on this one and we need everyone’s help.

As part of the pitch process we need to pull together examples of work with previous clients to show we have the necessary experience and creativity to do the job. However, as I’m sure you are all aware – we’ve been in this game man and boy and the only client that we’ve ever had are the children of the world. So we’ve decided to give them details of particular years when we’ve done exceptionally well, or overcome adversity to pull one out of the bag.

To give you some examples, there was the whole period 1914-1918 when we managed to deliver despite a world war raging. It was a hairy old business though, landing on those London, Berlin and Paris roofs, constantly strafed by searchlights and sniper fire. The moon landing in 1969 almost derailed us, with that massive surge in requests for space toys, but we pulled all nighters and came up with the goods. And what about the Great Fire of London? That caused major headaches with the address book that one.

Any suggestions will be gratefully received – so let us know.

Roy.
