As you know it’s a frantic old time at Santa Ltd – so we introduced movie night as an opportunity to unwind, relax and forget about the world a while. However, this hasn’t really achieved the desired effect, so can we please be a bit more careful what films we choose on movie night? In addition to having to dislodge a couple of snowmen from the airshafts after they went all John McLane after watching Die Hard on Tuesday night, Santa and I spent all last night trying to get Colin Jnr to come down from the roof. Whose idea was it to watch chicken run? Can you believe he thought we were going to eat him! If it wasn’t for the fairies laying a crumb trail down the chimney we would never have got him down.
You all remember what happened to frosty the snowman when he visited a few years ago, and we all watched Titanic? He cried himself into a puddle and it took five snowfalls to build him again.
So please watch something a bit lighter. We have series one and two of Doc Martin in the cupboard.
Mrs C.
can we get series 3 where the doctor has a baby?
I think watching films is a very inefficient use of time and I think we need to develop a policy that clearly states what films we can watch and for how long. Preferably once a year on your day off.
how about next time we get moulin rouge? kylie in possibly the finest fairy performance of all time. what an icon for us all - a performance only matched by the Tooth Fairy in the critically acclaimed 'Rita, Sue and the fairy too' - although maybe the less said about that the better
I agree with Roy - dedicating time to watch films is madness, even in your own time. This proposal should take up all of your time so you don't have any free to watch films. Too much to do, too little time!!
Attack Of The Reindeer 3 - The Revenge anyone??
